Five Requirements of Credit Repair Services
The credit repair business is one business that can always make a profit for you. The current economic climate is a case in point - the credit repair business has thrived while many other businesses have failed. Credit in our society has become a near necessity for existence.

About 78 percent of American citizens suffer from problem finances, which negatively affects their credit score and credit worthiness. Is it any wonder that the business of credit repair attracts people looking to start their own business?

However there are a great many other advantages than just that of high demand. Very little money is required to start, it rewards one with personal satisfaction, it's an outstanding means to make money and marketing expenses are low to nil, as word-of-mouth recommendations are adequate. OK then, let's get going!

Step 1
To start with you need to get copies of your client's 3 credit reports. Use any of the following links:  Call 877-322-8228 or visit www.annualcreditreport.com. Or Google "free credit report" and choose from the thousands of "hits."

This is extremely important, since as many as a whopping 90 percent of credit reports have errors. These errors are the reason, in many cases, that people cannot get credit. As a credit repair business you will help your client get his credit reports and know how to go about interpreting them.

Step 2
Look over the credit report and try to identify accounts that are likely not those of your client. First look carefully for signs of possible identity theft; this could be any accounts that may not be your clients, particularly loans that have been unpaid.  Don't be surprised if the amounts in this case are not terribly high, since this may be done to avoid raising suspicion. While the thieves make money, the victim is left with  negative entries and a bad credit score.

Step 3
Dispute mistakes by mailing the credit bureaus asking that the errors be corrected. If you believe there has been identity theft, be sure to report it to the police; it will also absolve your client from responsibility to a certain extent. Your business will prosper based on your success as an intermediary between the bureaus and your client. Most people come to a credit repair business because the whole process of fixing their credit seems daunting and intimidating. And for that reason, if you hope to attract lots of clients you must make your number one priority to act in the best interest of your clients. Believe me, paradoxical as it sounds, this is what will make your business a great success.

Step 4
Find a good credit repair software so you can simplify the process as much as possible. By improving your efficiency, you will free up time to help even more people. But don't rely only on your software; no machine is a substitute for human judgment.

Step 5
Promote your credit repair business actively both online and offline. Distribute fliers, and offer quality freebies that introduce your business to potential clients - for example, useful information, free consultations, free credit report analysis, and so on. It's not difficult to establish your credit repair business and make money, provided you keep the interest of your client as the most important aspect of the business.

Start out by helping out family and friends, and do your best to do an exceptional job! Your satisfied clients will recommend you to others, bringing you floods of clients and you will have an unending chain of leads. In order to kick start your business offer your services for a discounted price for a limited period; and be sure to do your very best job, and you will be rewarded with more referrals.

Some important points: The best way to make money is by ensuring that your client is happy. The money will follow. And finally, do not charge unaffordable fees, promise too much, or do anything illegal, since to do so spells disaster.
