Target Marketing: Less Is More If You Want Marketing Results
Have you ever heard a business owner tell you that "everyone is a prospect?"If you think the same way about your market hopefully this will change your mindset forever!

Successful marketing is made up of a series of successful messages that speak specifically to your audience.Yet, many independent professionals and business owners speak in generalities rather than specifics and cannot figure out why they get poor results. While there is nothing wrong with working with several potential markets, there is a grave danger in structuring your marketing message to try to appeal to all of them at once.

Let's focus for a moment on what is referred to the marketing bull's-eye.If, you think in terms of a dart board you have the center area that you shoot for and give you the most points.Anything outside of that area still scores points but not as many.If you want to win you must come as close as possible to the center point and probably have to hit it quite frequently if you are competing against other great players. The same holds true in business. You must define your target market center point and hit that point as much as possible if you are going to win in the game of business.

To accomplish this, look at your current clientele, your markets you enjoy working with and markets that most likely are a good candidate for your products or services.Pick no more than three of these markets and preferably even one if possible. Then gear your message specifically to this audience. This becomes your marketing bull's-eye and all messaging should be geared toward that center point.Do not worry about the rest. It is amazing how that business seems to come even more easily when you are more targeted.

You are now in a position to more clearly define your message and communicate to prospects, alliance partners and other sources of referrals. This will dramatically change your ability to attract more clients with less effort and stress.

Your first step is to sit down immediately and identify that center point and the rest will flow from there.

And are you ready to experience more about taking action? Then I would like to give you free access to my FREE audio The 5 Step Marketing Plan Generator. You can get your immediate access at http://www.GuaranteedGS.com/audio.html
