It cost five times more to win a new customer than to keep a current one. And since it’s natural for consumers to choose service providers based on suggestions from others they know, you want to be sure you take the necessary actions to establish a relationship with your customers early on.

A year ago if someone asked me if I knew my way around the CRM Software Industry I would have confidently said yes, however, as it turns out the old saying the more you learn the more knowledge you realize you lack, is true. When talking about the CRM Software Industry it is almost impossible to actually say that you know it inside out since there are so many CRM vendors around the world, all developing their technologies at such a rapid pace.

I\'ve been in marketing for over a decade and I aggressively understand the value of connecting to your customer, understanding your customer\'s experience and the like.   I also understand how complex a CRM solution can be.   As a marketing director for a small company I evaluated quite a few CRM vendors and found them to be either out of my price range or not flexible enough for the needs of the company.  For many reasons, an outside CRM system was not for us.  So what are the options?  Do it yourself!  It’s not as hard as you might think.
