The program is part of an initiative to support women’s economic independence as was founded by the Count Me In non-profit with support from American Express’ Open for Business
The event is focused on women business owners trying to push their businesses past the one million dollar in revenue mark. Suze Orman, author and host of the Suze Orman show is the keynote presenter, but hey, it’s also an election cycle so I suspect a presidential candidate or two to drop in on the target rich environment.
Here’s a description of the pre-program that begins at Noon on the 24th.

* Workshops – learn about topics such as financing your business, and how to sell on QVC
* Networking – meet and mingle with Make Mine a $Million award recipients and hundreds of other women business owners just like yourself
The main program begins at 4PM with special guest appearances by Financial Guru Suze Orman, Founder and CEO of Count Me In, Nell Merlino and Founder of the Daily Candy Dany Levy. Hear from current Make Mine a $Million Businessâ„¢ program award recipients. Watch as 20 women business owners are awarded with a package of money, mentoring, marketing and technology tools to help propel their businesses into $million companies.
