Great referral advice as always John.
When I think of building referral programs for my clients, I think of you.
Hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving.

You make it sound so simple! And I suppose it is. Note to self: Must try harder to get referrals and basically warn clients that I’m going to do that from the outset.
Is it OK to incentivise a referral?
Cheers

I fully agree. Many companies especially start up ones, overlook referrals. They can end up being the backbone of the success of the company. Great post.
wow, this is so great. I posted it to my home business blog.
Dear John,
I loved the Duct Tape Marketing book and I just bought the Referral Flood (and can’t wait to read it), but one question is already burning…
If I’m selling a product that gives my Customers an advantage to their competitors, why should they give me referral and increase their own competition?
Best Regards,
Fabio
This is right on advice John.
My husband and I have a Sculptured Nail salon business and I have used all of the things you talked about with great success. I love giving great customer care and have learned most of the business procedures from books. I will be getting a copy of yours. After 18 years in a traditional business, I now have an online business. The online business came from a successful part of my nail salon referral system. Just send Thank you cards to your customers to let them know how much you appreciate them and they will send you many referrals. Thanks for the great blog.
