    Microsoft Webmaster Toolset

    Windows LiveMicrosoft is now offering a Live Search Webmaster Center that is a bit like Google’s Webmaster Central.

    If you are a site owner this is a great way to get some insight into how Live Search works, submit XML site maps and see how Live Search crawls your site. Worth the time and a good education too. You will need to sign-up for a Windows Live ID and verify that you are indeed the owner of the site you want to track.

    • Cool. I've been using Windows Live Writer (and liking it -- can't say the same for the Outlook / ActiveSync / Mobile 6 Satanic Verses).

      ANY insight into what it takes to make my blogs easy to find / hard to forget is usually worth the time to acquire.
    • I've been a frequent user of Google's webmaster tools. This is a great way to improve the search results in Google for any site just starting out. But I've notice that once I submit my sitemap to Google, it matter of weeks the website is indexed in Yahoo / MSN's Live search.

      Yes, I think that's the idea - use this new tool from MS Live to submit your XML sitemap there as well and you should see quicker indexing.
