Like John Bishop above, I prefer red wine - merlot and cabernet.

I found the following tidbit in my draft of a book called Life's Ludicrous Handbook that I plan to have published some day.

You Are What You Drink

Graham Masterton thinks men are what they drive. "You are what you eat," other people say. Well, now there is some proof that "you are what you drink." Indeed, the kind of liquor you drink could indicate your personality type. Scientists at the University of Manitoba's Alcohol and Tobacco Research Unit found distinct psychological traits associated with the type of liquor people drink. The conclusions were drawn from a detailed survey of 1247 adults according to whether they preferred beer, hard liquor, or wine.

The study found that beer drinkers tend to be extroverted and ego-driven whereas wine drinkers are much less so. Individuals who drink hard liquor fall somewhere in between the other two. The psyche of people who consume a particular type of drink may have as much to do with their choice as much as the health advantages that a particular drink has. Lifestyles of people can also play a part.

"Wine drinkers might be more sophisticated," stated Robert Murray, one of the researchers. "They might eat healthy food and exercise. Whereas beer drinkers and liquor drinkers are more likely to be found sitting in the pub."

Perhaps the question should be 'what does it say about you if you use the term adult beverage' what happened to the word alcohol?

Anyways, my tipple of choice is J&B Rare whiskey, neat.
Or a pint of Pedigree.

Well, when I want to go all out, I have a chocolate milkshake with a shot of Bailey's. (See, I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I *do* like chocolate).

Otherwise, I'll have a dark beer or gray goose vodka with cranberry and lime.

Red Breast is definitely my favorite Irish Whiskey, and worth every extra penny, when the job needs to be done right. Blueberry Stoli and Soda has been a go-to decompressor as just one helps me forget about the office quite nicely.
