Another way to do something like this is just to have the RSS feed from your blog automatically publish notes in Facebook evey time you have a new blog post. These notes appear in your friends news feeds.

To do this, Click on "Notes" then "My Notes" then in the settigns on the right click on "Edit Import Settings" and add your RSS feed.

That's great, John. Thanks for sharing.

One thing I have done -- since I don't always necessarily want my FB status to reflect by latest post, but sometimes just my mood, what I'm doing, or even nothing at all -- is to get the FB app Twitter, which allows you to always have your Twitter status in one spot on your profile, which, of course, you can show or disable under the Applications link. If you keep this box toward the top of your profile, people will see this whenever they check our your profile, such as after a regular Status update or other action, such as a link or video share or wall post. Just an alternative.

I've read a few distress calls from people who got a little sick of their friends twittering over FB. They wanted to know how to shut it off (got to be too much) without unfriending. Sounds like a great hack, but maybe one used in moderation.
