Paul, as an Australian I wasn't able to verify my name either, but the link to do it and the notation that I was unverified seems to have disappeared. I wrote my knol on LOA about a week ago, and of course have had a google account for years, maybe that has something to do with it?

I have heard very good things about Google Knol although as I'm in the UK I am very aware that only US citizens can confirm their identity on it at the moment which doesn't seem appropriate for such a global company.

The person who was telling me had the result of being page one of Google search within hours but they do have to be careful since Knol threatens to undermine the credibility of the independence of Google search outside of the sponsored links.

Thanks for the post John.

I just added a Knol defining the sales process. Watch how this shakes out will be fun and interesting. .

Seems like there would be some special treatment going on. I bet there's going to be a flood of marketing people getting in on this action.

Thanks for the heads up!
