Very timely information. I just blogged about having a little more Zig than Seth during tough times. I believe most of us marketers, myself included think that we can seal the deal. But on the same token, sales believe that marketers do not live in the real world. The combination of both can be pretty powerful but seldom is recognized.

An interesting item to me is that I see many good Sales people in small firms inherit the marketing hat or in charge of Sales and Marketing. But seldom the other way around. Does anyone have an idea why?
