The World Clock is great. I have clients in the U.S. Europe and Asia, and used to have to manually figure out what time it was in each place. And then there was always Daylight Savings Time to trip me up!

The Internet has made the world smaller. Sites like timeanddate.com facilitate business and communication across national boundaries.

Take a look at Globex Pro - World Clock, it does the same thing and more. It shows the time based on North American phone area codes, as well as hundreds of cities.

It also has a World Time Converter tool to help with the scheduling of meetings and appointments.

This is a critical issue as you say when it comes to making meetings. This site is definitely a great simple site that serves its purpose. I do like that it includes many major US cities.

Time Zones - ugh! Thank you for bringing this up. VERY relevant. Just within the U.S. it can be a challenge. Imagine 6 consultants in a group in all the U.S. time zones, and imagine communicating the conference call and web meeting times. Throw in a little international expansion, and my head starts to spin.

P.S. - Under your blog it says "Posted by: John Jantsch on Dec 10, 08 | 6:06 am"... Is that your time or my time? (PST) :-D

I use Sharp World Clock windows software and set it up to display cities that I refer to frequently.

It works great and I'm able to take a glance on time quickly.

YES! I am time zone challenged! There have been a couple times when I've called early or late for client meetings--ALWAYS a huge embarrassment! Thanks for the clock reference. I will be bookmarking it!
