  • The Best Referral I Ever Received

In a previous post I asked readers to share stories of the best referral they ever received. It was a lot of fun listening to the audios so I thought I would share a couple with you. This referral story comes from Tamara Rose of Earthly Delights Day Spa.

If you would like to share your referral stories call (214) 615-6505 ext 6998 and listen to the message prompts to leave your message.

    • Great to hear more of them John. The authenticity of them makes it so inspirational.

Is there going to be a way we can hear more of them?
    • I would also throw my hat in and ask for an extra taste. I have really been enjoying the blog. Keep up the good work!
    • So far here's one of the best referrals we've ever received.

    • Great to hear that example! I have one client here in Australia -- a travel agency -- that has referred us more agencies, who each in turn referred more ... that's now about 180 clients I can source back to one single client (through several layers).

And yet some small businesses -- even in these tough times -- still fail to do the basics! My wife and her sister visited a nail and beauty salon for the first time yesterday -- no acknowledgement, didn't ask if they were new (or how they found the salon), no welcome gift, no next appointment booked, no details captured at all ... so crazy!

Great post, thanks for sharing them!
    • its always good to hear about good referrals, thanks for sharing this.
    • Great idea! A good way to expand our business especially during ED.

Years ago while building up a legal practice focusing on corp / tax / est planning, I found that small accounting firms were my best source of referrals. Small business owners seem to view their accountants as gurus on all matters financial and business related. I know there is a marketing term for these sorts of prime movers in the market but the name escapes me. I think this is the same point Dean made above about an uber referral source in his industry. Key to identify who that is from the start.
    • Its always good to hear about good referrals. They're really a great site to get traffic from. Thanks
