looks like a great resource with a great lineup of contributors. The white on black has my eyes bugging when I try to read it though :-/

I am the editor of the Small Business Marketing Guide John is contributing to. I also use Firefox and do not see any issues on my machine. However, I will bring your comments to the tech team so we can research it and ensure it renders properly on all browsers.

We have done some extensive browser-compatibility testing since we launched this. So please check it out again and let us know if you still see a problem (You may want to clear your cache first, so that it will not show you the cached version).

I hope you enjoy the helpful posts we offer by great authors like John.

The future is likely to be the age of virtual businesses. The newly opened two-person office will be able to look big, established, and successful. Build a really good website, toss in some color printers, fast computers, and cell phones, and you’re halfway there. After that, it’s a question of leveraging your creativity and ability to partner with other entrepreneurs.

The virtual business is the epitome of the less is more dictum — less expense leaving more profit.

Not every business in the future will be able to go virtual — at least we don’t think so today. But as the line between what’s virtual and what’s real blurs, going virtual will become more attractive.

@Mark – I’m 99% Firefox and had no issues so I assure you it was not a fundamental mistake – I’ll have them look into it though – thanks

HP are obviously not fans of Firefox!
When I open the smbmarketingguide in that browser (even full screen) the whole thing looks like the site has been folded in the middle and the left hand column is hiding half the text in the right hand column – not a good look/image.

One of the fundamentals of good web marketing is to get the presentation right and that includes for the percentage of visitors who are choosing to use other browsers besides the Microsoft weapon of choice.

So get the fundamentals right, HP, and you’ll probably earn a little more credibility, at least from me!

The site looks great though apart from that
