Knowledge of the art of gentle persuasion is key for a business to attract more buyers. This is the concept behind attraction marketing, a new internet network marketing system where you develop ongoing relationships with clients by educating your buyers first and then moving them along the buying path in your communications. Prospects resist selling...the more you sell, the more people resist it. Attraction marketing enables you to bring in customers in a pleasant and streamlined manner. Integrating the attraction marketing formula into your business helps you develop personal relationships with your existing clients and become a person of value, so that they have the underlying feeling of attraction and want to come back for more. The results from using attraction marketing in your network marketing online campaign will be much more favorable than trying to hard-sell everything.

Each year the bar seems to get raised higher and higher as to what gets noticed and what succeeds. What was interesting last year is now overused and outdated. Marketers especially really have to stretch and be creative in order to get their message out in a way that will stick in the minds of consumers. I completely agree that if you are boring, you won't succeed. It has to be a constant process of improvement to make sure you stay interesting in consumers' minds.

I love Seth Godin. If you are not remarkable, you are boring. We live in a world where superstars get paid disproportinately to their efforts. I heard Jerry Seinfeld when the Olympics were in Atlanta.
He was talking about how the difference between the Gold and SIlver or not get a medal can be hundreths of a second. Michael Phelps this year in one of his races was a perfect example. He looked like he lost and from every angle it was so close that it was impossible to rule either way. He touched by 100th of a second faster and got the gold vs the silver. The funny part is, you hear of the gold medal winner and he is on Wheaties boxes and the silver you never heard of him and never will again. So 100th of a second is fastest in the world and never heard of him...

I actually just started a blog because of Seth and I am looking at how to engage your audience in our new 2.0 marketing world.
Would love to hear your thoughts http://tinyurl.com/ccqo4n

Chad Rothschild
http://employeeandclientengagement.wordpress.com/

Thanks John!

Remember the Holy Trinity:

1. Nobody notices normal.
2. Nobody buys boring.
3. Nobody pays for average.

There is a direct correlation between how successful you are and how boring you are.

Q.E.D.
