I’ve decided to add a weekend post routine and see how it’s received. Each weekend I’ll do a post that features 3-4 things I read during the week that I found interesting. Good stuff I ran across this week
- This service allows you to bypass a person’s cell phone and go directly into voice mail, even if the phone is on. You know, for those times when you want to say, “I’m not going to be able to make it to the poetry slam tonight,” but you don’t want to have to explain why. Just dial 267-sly-dial (795-3425) and then input the cell number you want to message and that’s it. Only works with cell phones. SlyDial (Wired magazine)
- Incredible interview with Jack Stack, author of the Great Game of Business and founder of SRC Holdings about surviving and thriving during a recession. Author Bo Burlingham has made a bit of a career chronicling Stack’s success. (Inc magazine)
- Kickstarter.com - a very cool funding platform for artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians, journalists, inventors, bloggers, explorers. You create a project (currently by invite only) and visitors determine how much they want to pledge to help you see it through. (del.icio.us)
