These things change frequently as you know, at the time I wrote this it was still true. There are some very good reasons for LinkedIn not to do this, so I'm guessing they caught on.

Are you sure you get a backlink without a nofollow tag?

I checked on my company profile just no using the seo quake or seo book no follow check and I have a no follow against my company link.

With all these things it seems they like to put no follows a lot of the time

Thank you for the tip on Anchor Text. I have another question for you….my primary “job” is as the owner of my business, but I have several new “activities” that I want to promote (i.e. training, writing, etc.).

Since I'm beginning to think that my profile is not the best place to list activities, where do you recommend putting these in LinkedIn?
