  • Weekly Favs June Thirteen

I’ve added a weekend post routine that I hope you enjoy. Each weekend I write a post that features 3-4 things I read during the week that I found interesting. Generally speaking it won’t involve much analysis and may range widely in topic. (Flickr image included here is also fav image of the week)

    Enjoy!

Good stuff I ran across this week

    • Hey John,
Really glad you started doing these post. There are always hundreds of new things coming out each week and having a pro such as yourself share some cool things he has found make it well worth my time to look into. Great reads and thanks again!
    • Thanks - it's a fun thing to pass on too, not really stuff I could blog about per se, but nice little round-up piece. Especially love it when I am able to point to sites, tools and blogs that aren't well known yet.
    • John, great idea for weekly favs. I end up throughout the week building up a big number of browser tabs to things that are worth remembering only to eventually close them and forget about them. A weekly favs post is a nice way to do a little personal knowledge capture.
    • Thanks - you might also look at the Read it later addon if you use Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/... or some kind of bookmarking site like delicious
    • Thanks; that does look like a nice tool, but I've settled into using the Google toolbar's bookmarking feature. That way I can tag and categorize pages (e.g., "read it later", "blog idea", etc.) and can access that info from various machines and browsers. It's perhaps not so elegant, but the cross-browser support is what hooked me.
    • Excellent choice of articles, they are absolutely spot on. My favorite part in "How to be Happy in Business" is that if you only do what you’re good at for money, you have to learn to say “no” cause you’re not doing what you want to
      Great insight, Thanks John!
    • I really enjoy these weekend posts as their are always several issues or tidbits of information to snack on. Thanks for these info shares John.
