Digg CEO talks about using Digg and the future
Marketing Podcast with Digg CEO - Jay Adelson (Click to listen of right click and Save As to download)
In this session, Jay gives some hints about what's coming up next at Digg.
Digg is another one of those "came out of nowhere" services that now owns a substantial piece of web real estate.
For those not familiar: Digg is a technology news website that combines social bookmarking, blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial control. With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.
Jay talks about the creation of Digg (quickly giving Kevin Rose much of the credit), how Digg works, how to use dDigg and some of the changes underway right now. He also hints at some new directions in the works. The one thing that comes through loud and clear is that they have a lot they still want to do before Digg is done.
